What a preposterous title! Nikolay Andreyevich Rimsky-Korsakov was joking, surely.
But notice it comes out shorter in Russian, because they eschew (chew up?) the definite article; so there is no word for "the".
    It is not the same story as Brigadoon or Immensee.
    Some say it is his greatest work; his only religious opera; his Parsifal.
    I think he made a symphony out of it (a symphonic suite?).
